The SAP market is really booming BUT for experienced people only. If you have no SAP work experience, a training will not be enough.

It is a tough world for SAP newbies:

1- You have to be very very motivated
2- You have to train a lot on the SAP modules
3- You need to pass the certification
4- You have to create a good resume
5- You need to find a good project
6- On the project you need to do something interesting and learn SAP things.
7- After 2 years SAP experience you are a SAP consultant.
8- After 3 years you can ask a decent salary.
9- After 5 years you can start working as a freelancer

SAP is an ERP software used most of the time in large companies. In order to learn SAP and how to execute different functions through SAP, you need to know what it contains either technically or functionally. these are the 2 possible ways you can learn. in Technical side, there are other mulitple layors where you can concentrate on like core deveoper : ABAP , Java , BAPI , Reporting as in BW or BI and Netwever / Basis. IN functional side, it depends on what module or solutions you would be interested to go:
Supply Chain Management or Human Resources or CRM or Financials etc.
SAP is as usual the market leader so, you should be in good shape to start learning it if you are really interested.
