Haha, when I read the question I was going to say the same thing as you put, about the girl arguing with her mom over her cellphone bill. Man, that commercial is annoying...

Dumbest is a subjective thing and I think ALL commercials have a level of dumbness associated with them However that said, I find illogical commercials the most irritating. For example, I saw one recently for a credit card, name intentionally not mentioned so I do not give then free advertising. They show a fast food place and everyone is smoothly moving from place to place, until this one guy pays with cash, and the whole flow comes to a stop which the cashier takes the cash. This implies that using cash impedes business and inconveniences others in the food lines in this business. How exactly is that logical? Another credit card commercial showed a marathon race, and a guy takes a detour through a fast food place and simply waves his credit card past a device and he is out and on his way in record time. Great! Another way for people to rip me off if I happen to get my credit card stolen or if I lose it. What is this commercial telling me? It tells me that identification is NOT required for this particular card which means a greater risk of identity theft, but these people are3 marketing this as a "feature" of their card! Haw exactly is this so-called "feature" a benefit for ME? Well, all that being as it may, the dumbest things I see are the bugs which promo a show by covering a portion of the screen, lower left or lower right, advertising another show on the same network, and most irritating are the bugs which tell me what i am watching NOW! Do these people running these things really think I am SO stupid I do not know what show I am currently watching??? Oh, and did I mention these bugs now have sound effects which covers up the dialog??? How irritating is that??? I have had to resort to turning on closed captioning and muting the sound because of the stupid sound effects they insert with the bug advertising. I just wish there was a way to complain loudly about covering 20% of the screen and drowning out the dialog with advertising during what otherwise would be decent programming. Sigh...

That commercial where the mother takes the little girls cell phone is good. Not only does it show that the child loses her phone as a disipline but also shows that the mother does not know all of these chat abreviations and sadly enough to say that is so true.Parents just dont know what their kids is saying online or in text messages and some just really dont care. The commerial that gets under my skin is the geico commercial. Those little lizards(newts)runs all around out here in Texas including homes. The last place I want to see one is on tv let alone a talking lizard. That just aint right.

Any commercial that is for "sexual improvement" of a certain male function. They spend over half the commercial explaining all the "side-effects" of the "function". I do love it when they warn the user that "in the event that an erection lasts over 8 hours, consult a doctor!" And how would you exactly go into a busy ER room with that kind of problem???

The one I'm not happy with is the one for the Ford Mustang where the father and son are in the car burning rubber, and the father says, "Want to do it again?". Gad, that just reinforces irresponsible driving by anybody, let alone a teen.

I like the caveman commercials but for some reason, I hate that Outback steakhouse commercial with the crappy jingle.

Is that T-Mobile?? The girl is speaking in text-messaging? It's pretty annnoying alright...Did T-Mobile do the one with Mom and Daughter fighting with compliments? That one I got a kick out of... For dumb right now, though, I gotta go with "Berries 'n' Cream". Bleech! (I already don't love Sweetarts...)

I hate the one with the guy in the bathtub that puts a sponge on his head, covers himself with bubbles and calls himself Spongebob Nopants... I think that is a Burger King commercial... I think that company has sunk to a new low.
