It seems the majority of Bush supporters persist in believing the oft-told lie that there was a connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda, even though the Pentagon, the CIA, and an independent investigation by the Republican-controlled Senate have all disproved it.

Every man & woman understood the fact of harms way they were explained the facts, they joined knowing that at anytime that war can take place thay made this choice on their on some people wre drafted years back and didn't have a choice. If we were not keeping those idiots occupied over there it would be more 911's here. When we pull out and show them that we are the weak liberals we are they might be on your door step telling you what to do and abusing your family. I don't think there going about this in the right way,but yes America needs to take hold like our for fathers did and not back up.Put the country under control and set a demacrocy if we had to run it ourselves.

Let me start by saying that I am not a supporter of Bush. I believe that we were lied to in order for him to get the backing he needed to go to war to finish the job that daddy started.

Now having said that, I think that we have done a lot of damage to a country that didn't need it and now that we have broken it, we have to stay until it is fixed. To pull out before the country is stable would be a big mistake and we cannot do that. We have made this mess and we have to clean it up.

Well let's get this straight....freedom is and never has been easy. If we don't fight for what we have we will lose it. This is neither republican or democrat. It is the only way. When we lose the ability to fight for our freedom, we will lose everything. We now have a war against a people who have no intention of giving us our freedom, a people who have no value in human life and wish to take it from everyone. Our mission is and always has been to protect us and everyone from that type of inhumanity. It is not a single issue, it is not whether this was a war against one terrorist group, it is a ware against a group of people who live in many countries who are trying to take over the world because they believe we are not of their belief. Hitler believed this and we slaughted his regime. Now we have to take out the middle east if they continue to want to do the same. Read your history. The islamic culture tried to do this in the Crusades, throughout the Roman Empire and onto now. They haven't changed. We just got politically correct.

Yes, we are trying to assist the fledgling government stabilize itself. This is part of what the United States does.
This attitude that doing something hard is not worth doing needs to be removed. I would suggest that you stop reading these idiot liberal assertions and start actually studying history and start realizing that only when we do what is important and not the easy path will we move forward in the world.
