As soon as I realize that my opinion isn't the only opinion. Sometimes it takes me a couple of hours, sometimes a couple of days. Then it's time for a piece of "crow pie". It makes me feel really bad, to think someone is upset with me.

I hate for anyone to be mad at me so I have to do it right away. I will even apologize when I was not wrong to patch things up.

well for me usually when i see the relationship can't grow any more and if i dont patch up the differences then it actually hurt the relationship more than do go to it so this is what works for me.

Depends - if it's my husband or family member, I usually patch things up quickly. If it's a friend that maybe isn't such a good friend, perhaps never.

When the other is willing to speak to me again, even if it means
a standstill of up to 5 weeks. When the other calls, half the
battle is over.

It never bothers me when another person has a different opinion to mine, in fact i think it makes things interesting and variety is a spice of life. :)

I accept that I do not see eye to eye with everyone.
There is nothing to be patched up.
We just see things differently.

Either immediately or when the forgiveness is genuine.
Immediately because life is too short to hold that angry.
When the forgiveness is genuine for obvious reasons.
