It's:

(0.1)^2 * (0.9)^3 * (5! / (2! * (5-2)! ) )

That's the odds of two deaths (0.1^2) times the odds of three survivals (0.9^3), times the number of combinations of two deaths out of 5 people (5!/(2!3!)).

That calculates out to 0.0729, which matches the first answer in your list.

Each patient represents 20%. I should think the answer is half, .5 of a person.
Okay, I think I read the question wrong initially. My second thought is none of these are correct.
