She didn't spontaneously combust, she was merely beamed aboard the Renegade Dalek mothership that is lurking outside Earth's orbit right now. Your mischievious little puss has the nation's national security grid's access codes so that we may invade your puny planet and....
EXTERMINATE!
ANNIHILATE!
DESTROY!

Keep her away from the heater. She'll only end up burning her skin. She likes the heat so find a replacement. Maybe put a heating pad on a chair (under a blanket) so she can soak up the heat. And always monitor her around any hot equipment. Is there any way that you could get a different heater? Aren't those the most dangerous ones?

Now, that just breaks my heart.
I had the same thing happen to me.
Fluffy, my cat (the one with mange) was playing with a Ouija
Board and boy did he begin acting peculiar.
One night, after playing with it... he got so scared that he was hanging from the ceiling just shaking.
Next thing I knew....he just started smoking and caught on fire. At first I thought he'd been chewing on the ceiling fan again but after careful consideration my pastor told me it was spontaneous combustion caused by opening door ways to the beyond and eating dirty kitty litter.
*my condolences on loosing your cat

Did you film it? NO. Did you protect your kitty? NO. Was your kitty a scottish fold? NO. So that's why it blew up you silly billy goo goo.
Should you send your other cats to live with me where I will pet their fur in the opposite direction than the hair grows? YES. I will leave it up to you. Farewell.

Yeah, this is very contagious!
Put the other three cats in the microwave on high for 5 minutes..... This will prevent this contagious condition to the remaining cats
