Awwww, and I just got a beautiful new snake! I guess I won't be showing her off to you. :)

I was terrified of spiders most of my life. In the past few years I've taught myself to watch them and learn more about them; this has calmed my fears of them immensely. Before my kids were born I would scream when I saw one and practically go into hysterics... I didn't want my children to grow up with that fear though and had to learn to calm down when I saw them. They are teens now, and though I won't go out and grab a spider to hold, I will tolerate them in my space as long as I don't have to touch them.

PS. Spiders are arachnids.

I am pee-in-your-pants petrified of reptiles, especially snakes. I can't even watch them on tv or hear anyone talk about them without getting the heebie jeebies.
I also hate bats and mice. Spiders bother me if they are big ones.
Oooohhh! And I HATE birds! Bad experience with a goose when I was 4. That and watching Alfred Hitchcock's movie The Birds. *shudders*

I'm like you SNAKES. I live where there are rattlesnakes. One was found in MY back yard last summer. I've been freaked out ever since, as I don't know if that means there will be more this year. Really worried for my dog as I think she would be silly enough to approach one.

i ought to might want to say possums. (using a aggravating kids experience of a useless one being thrown at me by a neighbor youngster who discovered it in a treehouse.) and they don't look to be even indigenous to u . s . a . so that they are operating rampant because they merely about haven't got any predators except automobiles. If it ought to correctly be any organism except from the animalia kinfolk, i ought to might want to do away cockroaches. I do merely not see a choose for them in our eco-gadget and admittedly they are very gross. they have lived for tens of millions of years. i don't believe of it should be thoroughly unhappy in the experience that they went extinct. after all, their species has spent more effective time in this earth than merely about the different species.
