I have a 94 GMC S-10/ Jimmy with the Vortec 4.3L V6. I need to find a fuel injector for as little money as possible. I have been quoted $513.00 at the local Chevy dealership, $470.00 at Napa. I live in the Reno area. Any help would be great.

Already checked salvage yards and all they have in stock are Jimmys with the 2.8L V6. The only other one I did find was an Astro van but the whole intake was gone. I guess the Vortec was rare in '94 in the S-10 sized vehicles.

I just took a quick look in the Auto Zone web site for that injector. In my area it's selling for 293.00( for the spider looking one inside the intake) thats just for the part...So you may want to check them out in your area.and call around for some prices on installing it if you bring your own injector assembly and plenum gasket.

Here's a link for you to look it up. just put your zip code in for a local price when you get to the part.

Hope this helps.

That is about as good as it gets. I've replaced thousands of these and I have never seen a good price.
