I am not a Bush fan and I believe that we went over there under false pretenses. That being said, we have made a big mess and we cannot leave until we fix it. To pull out before the country is stable would be a big mistake and although I feel very bad for every service personal that is over there, I feel that we now must stay until the country can stand on it's own two feet.
So there is no way we can pull out of Iraq before the next election and I think that any presidential candidate that says we will get out of there by a certain date is only fooling themselves and the American public. And face it folks, haven't we been fooled enough?

He won't start bringing them home until atleast the fall or he could redeploy them to afghanistan.Pressure and lack of success will make the troops start to withdraw from iraq before the election.

Not likely, Dumbya doesn't know what to do to end the war, and bringing the troops home too quickly would help him loose face, it's more important to Bush to save face than spare our soldiers from unecessary deaths and casualties, this war will not end under Dumbya's watch.

Bush is foisting this off on the next president. He has already said that the troops are not coming home while he is president.

They will not come home while "dumbaya" is in office. When they come home will depend on who is elected after him.
