This I promise you will solve your problems. I read a studies about why people are always misplacing or forgetting to do things. When you come into the house, you take your keys and make a conscious effort to watch yourself put them on the hook. Do not run in the house and throw them down without paying attention or automatically putting them down. Put them in the same place while paying attention. Do this with every chore you do from filing away papers to putting away personal items. Same thing goes with a person giving you an order. Pretend it is your CO and listen to every word they say. I promise you will remember what it is you are to do.

I'm a much bigger loser than you are. I have a hook by the door for keys. Guess what? The keys never go there. I always lay my keys, wallet and whatever else I know I am going to need for the next day in the same spot everyday. The bookcase right by the kitchen door. Why there? Cause whenever I'd lose my keys, I'd end up finding them there. I figured, hey, if my subconscious mind wanted them there, that's a good of a place as any. :)

Having a hook for keys is a good idea but I dont put mine by the front door where just anybody can grab them. Organize your front door closet if you have one by putting one of those over the door plastic shoe holders on the inside. I put gloves, scarves, summer items like suntan lotion and swim suits and it would probably be a good place to put keys and small items, too. Do I misplace my keys? Yes , cause I sometimes have things on my mind when I come in the door and totally forget to hang them up.

I am the same exact way. I always was loosing my stuff. Finally I decided to change my forgetfull ways, so I got a basket to put by the front door where I keep the keys or other things that need for the day. I also have a decorative bowl thing that i keep in my room where I keep my wallet and cell phone. Both of these things help me a lot, even though it did take a while to get in the habit of putting my things in them. I suggest both of these things, although your idea workd too! I hope this helps!

Your trying to be a loser,it looks like by your problem. Nosensible person will take drugs if he knows the disadvantages of it. If you really study hard,it is impossible for you to fail. Sometimes it looks to me that you are bringing this up on you,by sitting on the comp all day & chatting wit friends who also do not study. So if yougive your other activities a break & start studying, stop weed and work for your life and get your career on track your life is set and you won't be a loser.

Well you have some very good tips here. I put my bitter half's key on a huge fob that looks like a giant brass safety pin and hang them on a hook by the door. We also have a wooden bowl where we put cell phones, wallets, loose change, etc. It's out in plain site always so things don't get lost....except for the remote...he takes it to the bathroom with him and then leaves it there.

Ok Lt. Dan if you are a loser then so am I because I do the same exact thing. I also have a hook in the kitchen, but it does not get used too much and I also do the same thing run around the house frantically trying to find them. We should start hanging them immediately on the hook when we get home no questions just do it!

I can't find my keys sometimes but it's usually not by my own doing. I always put my keys on the same spot on the counter but my husband in his cleaning and reorganizing frenzies sometimes moves them. The hook thing is a good idea. When I was younger and lived with my mom she had one of those key hook things on the wall where we would all hang our keys. It worked well since we always knew where our keys were.

We're not losers. I have a side table by the front door with a pretty crystal bowl that I empty my pockets into every day when I get home. Watch, gum, keys, cell, Atm card, pen and post-its. It makes it easier when I leave for work the next morning. I also keep a pocket calender so I can keep my days straight.

Don't feel bad I'm always misplacing things around the house too so if you are a loser then so I'm I. I really try to stay organized but it's not that easy.
