I met a girl and we dated for four years we even got engaged. But with the long distance and her controling parents and her not wanting to leave her parents we ended up breaking up. She was the best girlfriend I ever had.

I met someone on line in person, 5 years ago and we are real good friends. We see each other every 2 /3 months, and i met my hubby in an on line too. I know a lot of people that have met with people from the internet, all good out comes....

I have two new friends directly from Yahoo! Answers (no romance looms, however) as well as 38 linked potential friends. I met one girl through free dating service www.plentyoffish.com, a site I found thanks to a Y!A user, and that netted exactly one meeting which has not resulted in a spark.
I have also met some great people playing pinochle and fantasy league football online at Yahoo!. And Lt. Dan, your potential has yet to be tapped, but I suspect someday that will change.

I made a friend while chatting and playing in Yahoo! games - she's up in Canada, we've never physically met or talked on the phone, but we email each other all the time. I always look forward to hearing from her. We're the same age, have the same sense of humor, and the same guy problems. Love hearing from her!

I dated someone off and on again for couple of years from meeting online. Her life was a bit too chaotic in the long run, but she is still a friend.
