OMG! Those darn rodents! I'm constantly removing them from my yard - finding them new homes in the country! They dig holes in my yard and eat my plants! Come on over and take all the free chipmunks you can! I never heard of having a chipmunk for a pet. Is that legal?

Here is a link about why you shouldn't have a pet chipmunk - did you know pet chipmunks only live about a third of thier normal life? They were meant to live free! http://www.tagpetrescue.org.uk/chipmunks.html

The only 2 chipmunks you can have in your house are Chip and Dale, Sunday morning cartoons.. Otherwise live wild animals to enjoy their lives.. You don't need a pair of chipmunks, you will just destroy the life they love, living in the wild. Why make wild animals unhappy, just so you can say you have a pair of chipmunks?

Outside or a chipmunk breeder

Aren't there enough domesticated small animals you can have as pets? Why do you need a WILD animal? You can get some mice, gerbils, rats, hamsters, degus, chinchillas, just to name a few. Even flying squirrels are domesticated. Why INSIST on something else?

If you REALLY want chipmunks, there are PLENTY in my yard...

um no, if you have a death wish walk in front of a bus. They are not pets, they bite, and the ones you buy just might be rabid. I thought I was crazy, but not crazier than you. You're nuts but maybe that's good because chipmunks eat nuts.

the best place to look is in bargain pages (yellow/orange paper sold in newsagents) in the pets/animals section, also ask a local pet shop if they could get them in for you.

Set traps in the woods, but I got to warn you. When they become old enough to breed, they become very nasty and will bite you.
