This is not a good thing. Your engine has a compartment ( 2) for your pistons, your spark plugs are connected on the outside of these area's. The HEAD is the cover top of these compartments. Inside is where your pistons move up and down with a lot of friction. These pistons would not be able to function with out oil! This is also where your oil goes! So if your car busted a head it more than likely means the cover is cracked! You can not have your car functioning like this. It will soon die!!!

It means it's going to be expensive to fix, it is the part that contains all your valves, and when it crakes your oil will mix with your water and it will keep your car from running. If your have a cracked head the car probably overheated or someone sprayed water on a hot motor, either way it's probably not the only problem the engine will have, it's the only one that has been noticed. Good luck

on top of the motor, usually where you put your oil in, is the head, it has your valves, springs, and rocker arms. well for example, say you run out of water in your radiator and your engine starts to overheat, the water which would normally be flowing through the heads and keeping it cool isnt there now so the heat causes them to crack or bust.

It means that they have a cracked cylinder head. The head is the top part of the combustion chamber and holds the valves, in an OHV engine.

That means you will loose water frequently and if enough water get into the engine while driving, the engine will ruin. Replaceing the head is expensive.
