Disagree. In my opinion, never put good expesive equipment in a crappy car. If your car does not run good, you have no business puttting anything in/on it cosmetic.Wait until you are able to get a really good used car and then put your expesive things in it. It pays in the long run to do it this way.

Saw a car sold at auction for 1000 and it had 1200 worth of stereo equipment in it.

Don't waste your money. All this will do is make your car more prone to be stolen or broken in to. Just keep it stock, until you can save up some money and get a decent car.

If you buy a cheap car, best save some money to keep it running. A great stereo system is nice, but if the car won't run, then what good is it??

9k as in 900 or 9000?. So you sound like you "know" your going to wreck lol. Thats what insurance is for? Seats? are you kidding me? You'll be selling that after high school as everyone will laugh at you. Be smart, save your money.

But, as far as the stereo goes. You can always move that.

Ok, a 9k Prelude is NOT a shitty car (unless you're used to BMWs or something. I would recommend learning to drive so you DON"T wreck it and kill yourself in the process.
