They are really hard to get rid off. First you may need to trow away a lot of stuff, fabric stuff, bedding, carpeting. Other fabric stuff need to be washed in hot water and kept in a seal container until you clean up your place. You may have to move out of your place for a while until you get rid off the bedbugs. You need a professional exterminator and you need it for several months not just one time. Once you get rid off them you need to have the exterminator come to your place for several times and then have him come every other month or so until your sure you don't have any. Good Luck! Remember wherever you go, wash everything because you may be taking the bedbugs with you in your luggage.

In addition to the exterminator, you can periodically put your mattress out in the sun to be "baked" by the sun. It will kill bugs. Leave it for a couple of hours and then flip it over. This also works for thick comforters, pillows, etc.

Throw out your old bed and buy a new one. Maybe your bed spread is to old .
