I asked this very same question before I was suspended. Definitely, I think they should be separated. I did mention that in a survey Yahoo sent me.
I pointed out - I feel anime is directed mainly to very young children whereas comics are directed to young persons to adults. I feel they are two different personalities of people.
I'm afraid this is falling on deaf (Yahoo) ears.
Good idea though to keep asking. I'm sure many of us agree.
I respect anime 100%, but I'm tired of sifting through questions like: Who would win, Maruhotshmutomiyama or Kamayashisshyadakuzukimaash?
(Don't check my spelling, I just made them up.)

i'm centred on it however the disadvantage is the variety of posts would be split between C&A and M&A the recent M&A i anticipate gets the lions proportion of the questions. it could help via having a M & a classification whether it is a lot extra probably that when you deliver a query it is going to immediately flow to that class with out having to do it manually. that's what I regularly ought to do while asking a query i pick to be published here. I did concentration on it "I E-Mailed Yahoo solutions" and asked them to characteristic a Manga & Anime class.

Comics and anime are two totally different categories, just because many people like both shouldn't mean we are all lumped into one big category. I think they should.
