Yep, I was in a band during high school -- a rock band. I only took band class in 7th grade. I liked all the bands and orchestras, but wanted to do my own thing, so I did.
Biggest bummer? My folks wouldn't let me go out in the snow for a gig on my birthday because there was a blizzard that night. So I got a new microphone, but didn't get to go to the gig and use it.

Yep. From 5th grade all the way through high school. I played flute thru 10th grade, then piccolo. My school band was a lot of fun. Went to all the basketball and football games, both at home & on the road. Loved the marching band and even band camp. Parades, Christmas concerts...We used to have a parade every year that dropped Santa off at the local JC Penney's! Sounds corny and lame, but It was a great experience and I wouldn't have traded it for anything. It makes me smile thinking back on it all. Thanks for the memory!

Yes. I was a big band geek and proud of it. I played Coronet. I was in Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Honors Band, All State Lions Band, Jazz Band.

No, I never was in a band in high school because I didn't like the uniforms.

I am in the Freshman band, next year, the Concert Band, Pep Band, Marching Band ^_^ and maybe the jazz band.....
I am a total band geek!!!
Flautist and pretty darn proud!!!
p.s. My boyfriend is even a trumpet player in my band ^_^

Yes. All four years. I played and enjoyed playing the trombone. It was different. Not alot of ppl play trombone, like ppl do with the clarinet or flute or trumpet. I liked being unique.
