i think red and pink loook so cute together. it says you look cool and flirty at the same time! and plus the blue jeans would make it classic and preppy at the same time. you can also wear a white mini skirt with it, either denim or flowy one. it would add girly-ness to the look!

Light pink, yes. Maybe even coral or salmon assuming that the hoodie's a true, bright red. Not hot pink, though. Or anything with purple in it like magenta or violet.

Yes, that would look really good. But it depends on the shade of pink. If its a hot pink, then it wouldn't look too good, but if it is a light pink then ya, it would look REALLY cute!
