Sarkozy is authoriaran in personaltiy, and called young people rioting thugs. I personally think Sarkozy be good for the french economy, but I think polarizer to ethnic minorities, and Sarkozy is Degaulle lite or Putin lite. France would of been better off with Bayou a more cautious leader, and Royal is vague on ideas and wants to live back in the marxist days.

Not much will change. Don't look for Sarkozy to join the "Coalition of the Willing" and send 10,000 troops to Iraq. He's already blasted Bush for his environmental policies.

His big challenge is to create jobs and reform the ridiculous French labor laws. The socialist union idiots are already rioting.

Sarkozy is against the war in Iraq and has called on the US to show more leadership in the struggle against global warming. Perhaps his friendlier attitude towards the US may actually have a positive effect on US policies.

Before calling Bush a murderer, do a little research and see
how many people that were going to testify against Bill
Clinton are dead.

Before calling Bush a murderer do a little research and see
how many Americans were killed in Vietnam LBJ's war

Before calling Bush a murderer do a little research and see
how many Americans were killed in WWII (Roosevelt & Truman) and the Korean War (Truman)

Before calling Bush a murderer do a little research and
see how many babies were aborted in the United States
since 1973, (I'll give you a hint 50,000,000 or there abouts)

The only ones that I can see that Sarkozy should shun
are the Democrats, look how many deaths under their
administrations

Well Sarkozy is pretty much a carbon copy of Chirac. They hold the same views and beliefs. Really I would like to see better relations because we can use it.

(sigh) Only a liberal would be afraid of France. Besides, if so many people in our government were killers (murdering is the same as killing), then why are you still here?

I'm not a liberal American, not since Mr. Bill was elected. France suc*s; doesn't matter who is in power, let's face it; France is a none entity.
