Are you a good speller?

..and if not why don't some people learn..or use spell check.

This question was inspired by an individual who used to post on my 360..and irritated me with both her spelling..and attitude.

Soldier..you missed the point, this individual was an attrocious speller,even thought they had great writing ability..but has always answered so many questions times but hardly ever could spell an answer correctly.

LMAO.....Seems to me...a person who lacks intelligence..tries real hard..to make up for their insecurity by having a attitude..I have noticed that in life.
Then their are the real idiots who do something...just on purpose to irritate others..why I do not know..seems like another insecurity issue..such as..HEY I NEED ATTENTION..like a child...if being bad gives a child more attention than being behaved...there is a very great probability that child will have behaviour issues...just for the sake of getting some attention..seems bad attention to some is better than none at all!
Oh to answer the Q..yes I am a good speller..I wanted to be a english teacher..I wish I had done that...it would have been rewarding.
Some people Harvey who think they know everything...cannot be taught anything..such a shame..for them!

I've always been a pretty good speller ( I learnt to read when I was 3 ) but now that I'm getting older (45 in three weeks, eek!) I sometimes use spell check to make SURE I've spelled a word correctly. ( I didn't use it this time, ha )

People like you who are anal-retentive about spelling and grammar and go off on a tangent if so much as one letter is out of place annoy me far more than those who don't use spell check. Also, spell checkers only check spelling and not grammar.Aside from that, there are no spell checkers in the "details" or "source" fields.

Edit: You also missed my point. Just because you (think thatyou) have perfect grammar, spelling, etc.100% of the time doesn't make you any better of a person.

thank you! you have a fabulous point. I can undertand misspelling a word here and there, but when every three or four letter word is misspelled grossly, that gets annoying. What amazes me is as I type this, there is even a little check spelling icon staring me in the face, do people not see this??

I am; some people have a knack for spelling, some don't.
Now typing carefully is another situation all together!
We can all benefit from using spell check.

yes, i'm pretty accurate at spelling, typing, and English in general :D

don't use spell check either... too lazy...

btw, some people are learning how to spell still, some people just can't be bothered/don't care, while others are too lazy to change so they carry on using internet messaging/IM words (see my btw for example :D)
