will a1987 dodge steering column fit a 1985 dodge?

I have an '85 and '87 dodge pickup and I need to replace the steering column on the '85. Does anyone know of they are interchangeable?

They should fit but check with a local salvage yard...they have cross-reference books that tell them what parts will interchange from one model and year to another so if a customer calls with a certain type of vehicle and needs a part like a steering column, if they don't have the exact same vehicle, they can tell if one they do have will fit that application.
