The wisest "piece" of information I could share is something my grandma told me. "You have to be a good neighbor to have a good neighbor" If you think about it, it applies to all aspects of life.

A great friendship is like flowers in a meadow. It looks beautiful together, then dies. You can't prevent it from dying, giving it more water will just kill it faster. So just be happy with what you've had and enjoy the memories you've made, then let it go.
