Okay. Someone has to say it. It's wrong to steal. I heard once of someone stealing a roadsign that the absence of caused a fatal accident. The roadsign thief was charged with manslaughter. Make your own or see if you can find one for sale on eBay.

The easiest way to steal road signs is not to do, it's a crime in every state to steal a road sign. Why would you want to steal a road sign anyway, you can purchase them online, and they look just like the real thing.

Hope you are not writing your next question here on Yahoo Answers from jail.

The best and easiest way is not to steel them. First of all it is a federal offense to steel road signs. Second, when you steel a road sign you could be putting someones life in danger. If you steel a stop sign people won't know they are supposed to stop and end up running into someone else. If you steel a street sign, you could slow down response time if someone has a medical emergency because the medical personal won't know where to go. So leave the road signs alone!

Call and ask your City Manager !!

Seriously, here in California: it's a felony and a $250 fine.

I lifted one when I was 18... then returned it. I got with a buddy and we started silk-screening street-signs for other people in college

Some friends used to grab the ones they put up around road construction for our armor....They are heavy, but they aren't buried so they are easier to get.

Contact the road department of your town, county or whatever, and ask if you can buy on old one they are going to replace.
If you are lucky you get it for free, or for a token price.

Just remember that if you take a Stop sign, and there's a fatal accident, you would be charged.
