I think it would be a good idea to be checked out by your doctor first to rule out any physical causes for your present condition. If that doesn't turn up anything, I'd seek out a therapist. Most important, take action and do not let this go without seeking help.

Ok, well, hold on, this is not an attack on you, but you may need to see a counselor, if you have issues, especially depending on your age, you have to, or will have to work for a living, if you are not disabled. The reason I make mention of your age, is because if your a teenager, or a young adult, a very young adult, it is normal to be more than lazy, but as an adult we are still lazy at times, then we go on and work, we push through it, you are in school, high school, or middle school, I don't know which you are in, if it is one of the two above that I just mentioned, or lower, you have to go to school, it's the law, if not, if you are in college, university, or some other level that would measure adulthood, you have to work through it if that's what you want out of life, a college, degree, if not, get out, you really have to seriously think hard about it. Now for the real answers.
1. School is momentary, life is forever, which seems more difficult to you.?
2. That also answers your "sick of it". quote.
3. Time management, make a list of things that are important to you, and work with vigor at achieving them in order.
4. Give it your best, and you won't just be "passing by.".
5. You're never done with work until your life is over. And not by your own will. Discouragement is a part of all our lives, work through it.
6. Get up in the morning, and it will get easier as far as combating the feel like sleeping, syndrome.
7. Why be afraid of something that can't hurt you physically.
8. Don't on this school work, there's always a way back in. If you give up on that, you will give up on life, so don't give up on life, just do it.

I feel you. I am in a very similiar place. Everything seems incredibly hard. Sometimes I feel as though I am in a huge dark hole and the way out is so difficult. I'm not sure how I ended up here, I just know that now I'm here it seems like I can't escape.
BUT- I know that's not true. There is help. I have to keep looking and hoping and so do you. We all get into these ruts. Some just seem deeper than others. The answer is to keep looking, keep thinking, keep being your own best friend and don't give up.
There is no quick fix--but there are things to ease the pain and get you back on your feet. You do need to talk to a doctor. Medication like Lexapro, prozac and such, do help.
Sometimes the very things we are frightened of become small when we face them head on. Be brave. Look your fears in the eye and refuse to be slave to them. You have the right to live your life happily. Find the way to get there.

i understand how your feeling, earlier this year I just couldn't get motivated and really just wanted to quit school al2gether
the only thing that kept me goin was the thought that this is my last year and i would regret it if i just threw it all away!
i think u need to take it one day at a time and find something to enjoy in it all(hard I know! but there must be a subject that u luv) and u could try going 4 a run in the mornings to wake u up. Yoga is good for energy too.
mayb u could also talk 2 someone about this, a councilor, parent or teacher that u trust? i found it really hard to talk about it and i felt so hopeless, its hard to work through things by urself.
i dont know what else to tell u, i did'nt really get over my own lack of motivation, i'm just into the cycle of getting h/work, completing it as much as i can bring myself to while waiting for the end of year 2 come!
:-) goodluck, i hope u cheer up soon

It is good to really look at what is the problem. Maybe you feel that you can't control your life but you can. It's good practice to cultivate proactive habits. It will help you manage things including time management. List of all what you have to do and what you try to avoid doing. Write the priority in each item in the list. Don't procastinate of what should be done in your list. And once you get used to it you gain self-mastery ,self-confident and self-esteem. You will be more proud and happy with yourself.

How old are you? Have you asked your parents to help you? Maybe you can look into a tutoring program like sylvan. It may really help you to get a handle on the time management thing and help you not to be afraid of your work but excited about it and proud of your work! I will keep you in my prayers. G-d bless you.

Get checked for parasites. You may picked up a energy sucker thats just ripping you off for you best stuff. Hookworm can do this, and a few others. See a specialist., or a real good ER doctor. look it up on CDC.govt.

I believe that we are here for God's pleasure and for His purposes. I have found out that I forget my own problems when I am helping others. Pray about it. God is bigger than any of your problems. : )
