if I load them into my documents. and then go to a site and upload them such as ancestry.co, of a friends e-mail as an attachment up comes I cant undeerstand that says fgi and other letters and the idea is my file cant be loaded How can I get it right this will help me very much ty

i put it ftd it loaded then it said open to my computer to read it It came out 1 Letter to a line all down the page I am very frustrated

Annie, not many sites or application can open WP files directly, what you need to do is save the document as a RTF or Word95/97 format, this will make the file more universal for others to use.
