What can be done if the power steering on a 2000 V6 mustang becosme very difficult to turn when parking or reversing? Is something wrong with the steering belt or what?

check your power steering fluid level...if its low put some in and you'll have steering back...otherwise there are major problems

Get it checked out. The brakes and steering is nothing to mess with. It is a safety item and don't delay. good luck

Get your power steering pump checked.
