One of the many 'old fashioned' courtesies that are becoming lost. Its sad. Without good manners we are all debased.

No, it actually bothers me when boy's or MEN take their hats off inside. Jewish people wear those little hats on their heads to put something between them and God, a show of respect you could say. So times are changing Many don't even know our older generation think it is rude to wear a hat indoors so how is that disrespectful? The hat is only offensive if the person wearing it is! Oh and I'm 24 by the, I'm sure I'm too young to have an opinion on this and I shouldn't speak unless directly spoken to. Please realize some traditions are worth losing.

I think its sweet that you remove your hat/cap like a true gentlemen should. The values and principles that have been established for centuries, and decades are slowly fading away. It's god to see that SOME people still believe in the good values that were taught to them.
And btw, I'm 24. So the younger generation does respect that no matter what others believe.

I'm 17 and it doesn't bother me. Actually, I don't expect guys to take their hats off indoors. Well, I suppose if their in a church then of course, but if it's just in a store or inside a house, what for?

I'm 28 and I make sure my 9 and 5 year old boys take their hats off inside. It's a show of respect.

I live in Texas and here it's not a faux pas for men to wear hats most places. But, in a formal setting and anywhere outside this state, it would be weird to see a man inside with a hat on. (My age is not relevent)

I am 57 and removing one's hat or cap inside is common courtesy. Unfortunately, those manners are passed on from one generation to the next. Lots of things are falling by the wayside.

I'm 19.
Yeah it bothers me because I feel like it's disrespectful. That's just how I was raised at home/school/church. Men should take off their caps, let ladys go first, hold open the door, give women and children the life boats if the ship should sink...
am i asking too much here?

I'm 20 female. Yes, it bothers me that men boys whatever a lot of them don't have the manners they should any more taking their hats of is the least of my worries. My biggest worry is how they treat women. They see them as a piece of bootie and use them and loose them. One day, when they have little girls they will see how hard it is to try to keep little boys winkies away from their girls.

I'm old-school too but I also accept that the times they are a-changing, so except for formal occasions like weddings, funerals, meeting gf's parents/grandparents, etc, I wouldn't nag too much. Remember Elton John during his hair transplant days? He had his cap on all the time. And then I haven't even started on about sunglasses at midnight:-)
