easy best answer! back to school wardrobe basics?

Question

i'm going into high school this fall and i want to have a new wardrobe. what are some good basics to have any ideas? whats popular to wear? any ideas all ideas are welcomed! thanks! :) ps. i know it's still far aways but i'm planning ahead! lol :p

Well the clothes that a lot of people in high school are wearing include:

mostly on the preppy side. you see a lot of cute sandals in the warmer seasons and uggs for the cold ones. There is a lot of big jewelry going around too.

I thought these shoes were super cute and they could totally go with any kind of outfit. Also Old Navy has some flip flops for really super cheap in so many colors.

Don't be afraid to try something new, but before you go out and splurge on something totally crazy, make sure that you are going to wear it. I buy at least three things a year that i never wear and it's a total waste. Just because something is "in" doesn't mean you have to wear it. Don't be afraid to be different and wear something bright and fun, who knows, you may just start a new fashion trend.

A few pair of great jeans are a must their easy to play up or down also flats are the best they come in so many different colors and styles that you won't be the girl who came over dress to school in heels solid t-shirt and tanks for layering are good accessories are a must have they change the total look of any outfit but most important is confidence if don't think you look cute then no one else will either! I say make your own look, I personally love big bracelets and skinny jeans, but i only wear skinny jeans with a peep toe shoe, and I love Baby Phat clothing and shoes, buy some bid bead necklaces and cute headbands, now the necklaces are really cute if they are like big wooden beads or something, and big sunglasses haven't left the building yet so go out on a limb and get some of those, buy cute handbags too, not too big but not so small either, good luck in high school, hope I helped♥♥

It okay to think early about your wardrobe I am doing the same thing.lol! This is what I am thinking::

Lots of jeans and cute abercrombie, hollister, and delia tops! Ripped jeans are my fav. Also a ton of flats and vans. when it comes to 'basics', heres a few things I like. Dark wash jeans, white shorts/skirts, denim mini skirts, tee shirts as well as fancier tops, and dresses. Dresses are really big now, so get a few casual ones you can pair with some killer shoes. Peep toe shoes are very in style right now, and so are flats. Funky sneakers from Vans or Rocket Dog are popular. The best thing about high school is you can experiment with your clothes and find your own personal style.

Im going into high school too, so im probably gonna hit the mall this summer and get clothes from Hollister and abercrombie. Hint: Look for the nearest outlet mall to you, because they not only have the cutest clothes from these stores, but they are WAY cheaper!! Also, check out forever 21 for their really cute tops, and Pacsun for their denim jeans! Hope I helped!

jeans are a must. have a variety of pairs. like faded, ones w/ holes, normal, etc. then have at least one cute pair of tennis shoes. small, simple ones. skirts are always good. normal denim ones work fine. flip flops are always in style too. for hair, i think headbands are really coming back so get a variety of designs. the layered look is popular now too. so get tanks to put under long sleeve v neck shirts. those printed skirts that come to ur elbow are popular too now. have a variety of colors and prints so people can tell ur outfits r different. hope that helps!

charlotte russe - cute cheap shoes, accessories, and shirts

abercrombie - it's pretty expensive but just one jacket will be cute and useful

journey's - Vans or orther types of shoes are nice

macy's has tons of brands of jeans. AE is also really cute for jeans and other clothes.
