Massachusetts General Laws Annotated, chapter 406, section 9, makes it a crime not to boo anyone in pinstripes. Sorry.

They cheered him in Fenway last time, because it was his last time. Supposedly.
I like the comment about Sox fans having no class, though. Where was it that the police had to line up along the first and third base lines in full riot gear because their team was being beat again? Oh yeah, Yankee Stadium. Now THAT'S the type of class we should all aspire to, threatening players with physical violence by throwing baseballs and other objects at them.
I'm sure there will be some boos, some cheers, and some who just plain don't care, since Clemens isn't really going to add all that much to the Yanks.

Of course they will boo him, red sox fan's have no class. They think they are the greatest and deserve everything. As far as Clemen's not being good and washed up, that is far from true. Look at his number's last year. He never got any run support. I don't like the Yankee's or Clemen's, just a true honest baseball fan.

Red Sox fans used to boo Jim Rice while he played for them. Of course that's just because it is a racist city.

There are two answers
Real Red Sox fans: No
Bandwagon fans: Yes
People in Boston that follow baseball don't hate Roger, in fact we appreciate what he did while he was here. Our old ownership cut him, he didn't "leave".
