Go to Benedictine. I went to U of I, and I'm afraid that if you go there, it will cheapen my degree.

No one here can tell you where to go to college - just really consider both, and try to decide at which campus you will take advantage of the opportunities provided. From a strictly cost-benefit analysis of the situation, flagship instate is always best... but if you are just going to coast there, you really will be wasting your money. If you feel like you will be more engaged in campus life at Benedictine, then go there.

You are not alone. Members of your generation are used to be told what to do (you tend to have "helicopter parents" who hover around and schedule everything for you). Unfortunately, college is about developing self-reliance through a process of self-discovery - something best done if parents are on the fringe of your decisions, not the focus of them. The decision of which school to attend is often the first MAJOR decision you will have to make, so do it right, and don't let any of us make up your mind for you.

The U. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a large (31,000), respected, comprehensive university with a national reputation. Benedictine University is a small (3,000), Catholic liberal arts institution, not even known very well locally.

Just go to your local college near home.
U will be near a hospital perhaps and they
will give u a job quickly and u can still go
check on your ma and pa.

lol... that is an easy one, I think.
It does not matter the school size it matters who good the education, although, some schools are not as good as others
because of some people in it. like teachers, some theachers
not all. (this is only in my opinon)
