I'm about 5'5"-5'6". I know that isn't too terribly tall, but I always feel like a giant when I wear high heels. Does anyone else think this is too tall?

I bet you have the answers by now. Majority confirms that you are just nice wearing high heels. To the extreme, Nicole Kidman still wear highest of heels even she close to 6 feet.
So... wear you high heels and stand tall and proud. However, it is not the height that matters but the most important you are comfortable and confident in what you are wearing.
* If you feels like a giant, consider wearing stilettos heels and tall thin heels instead of platforms and mules which will portray your elegant and slimness :)

I'm 5'5 1/2" and if I wear heels people say I'm tall. I stand straight and was tall as a youngster, so I act tall. I prefer 1-2 inch heels if at all.

No way, models where heels all the time and they are 5'8 to 6'0 feet tall. Believe me you most likely don't look like a giant I'm 5'6 and I wear heels plus my sister is 5'10 and she wears heels. I think you should buy the next pair of cute heels you see and strut down the street feeling GLAMOROUS and AWESOME. Don't be self conscious about wearing heels.

My friend who is 5'7 wears 4 inch heels, so go ahead. Alternate between flats and heels though to not seem overpoweringly (long word lol) tall. But always make sure your confidence level is higher than the size of the heels on your shoes...

If you like them, feel good in them wear the heels.
They always make the leg look fabulous, the guys love them on a girl and if they have any nads they have no issue if you're wearing heels and are same height or taller than they are.
Be girly.. wear the heels.

Not at all =) If you still think your a giant when you wear heels, try wearing 2-3 inch heels (kitten heels) instead of high ones.

Not at all!!! My BFF is 5,8" and she wears heels all the time, and think of all the models out there. believe me if you wear heels you will look GLAMOROUS so go for it, and if you don't like really tall heels try Kitten heels.

for helpful you're no longer too tall . fashions are taller and positioned on them. considerable is which you walk keep on them . You look particularly, so which you will get seems with and without heels. positioned on them in case you like your look with severe heels. a particularly woman on stilettos seems so great.

i am 5'6'' and i wear heels but sometimes i feel too tall..it all depends on where i am going but i love heels!
