what do you use daily that is in a shape of a square...i'm trying to make a book for children about shapes..

Shapes are two-dimensional, like a single post-it memo sheet, a cube (while a square shape) is a cubic square, and two of them would be like a set of dice.
Little kids should be able to identify with the above because either they or their parents usually use post-its, and dice are used in several children's board games.

Some countries have square roadsigns, (Australia for instance,) and as I do not know where your readers will be, maybe they have some too.
