Friends have a way of just fading away. If you don't want to hurt her feelings just don't be available to talk or hang out where she is. In time she will find new friends to keep her occupied. Until that time, keep conversations short. If she does come right out and say she wants to be more than friends, tell her you don't want to ruin your friendship or tell her you and this girl who lives near a relative you have that lives away have been e-mailing and you have had a crush on her for years and.... One time I used the name of a boy I used to babysit as the name of my far away boyfriend so I wouldn't hurt a guys feelings. Good Luck! =)

im a 13 year old girl and i have been in that girls position and you know what its gonna hurt her a little bit or maybe more it just depends on how much she likes you. but if yall are really good friends then please whatever you do still treat her like a friend...i liked my best guy friend for a while and well he found out and he was cool with it but for the first few weeks we were kinda distant and that hurt worse them him saying he just wanted to be friends. just tell her that your sorry but you have to tell her that you just want to be friends. she might start to cry or just accept it and move on but if she starts to cry be there for her tell her your really sorry but you just didnt want to mess up the friendship and that you care about her a lot but just in a best friend/ older brother sort of way. trust me it may hurt her a little bit now but it will save her a lot of pain later.

don't avoid her or anything like that (because that would be rude) Just do nothing unless she says something to you about it My best guy friend was convinced that I liked him because my friend said she thought I did because I was "flirting with him" and then he started avoiding me in an attempt to make me not like him anymore but I didn't like him in the first place
If it's painfully obvious that she likes you then just act normal except try to make an effort to not do anything she might percive as flirting. She probably just has a crush on you and will get bored after a while.

Be honest and make it clear that you want to be friends only..that you just are not interested in more than that with her or that you do not want a girlfriend right now. You would be hurting her far worse if you let her believe that you like her more than you do and she starts liking you more. Best to nip in in the bud...so to speak. Good luck.

If she is your friend then you must like her some. If that is the case then don't tell her. Keep her as a friend but not as a close good friend, that way you don't have to hurt her feelings.

You don't have to tell her in words. Just don't show her actions that would make her feel like you also feel the same way she does. When she starts verbalizing her feelings then you have no choice but to get down and dirty, if you know what I mean.

a girl hates to be rejected but if you want to keep your friendship then just show her no interest and do not lead her on. tell her he's a real good friend of yours just to let her know that's what you think of her. dont tell her you don't like her you don't have to say that.

Just dont be around the scene much. Do not encourage the feeling. Control you hormones. Become frindly with the other girls

Well tell her when your talking to each other, say" you are like an OLDER/YOUNGER sister to me." after saying this she will feel that you only see her as a sister so she'll probably decide to think the same way you do.
