I tried to flush old Goldie, but now I have a plumbing problem you'd never believe and the plumber just fled in terror--what do I do now?

Well if he is a good plumber, get on the phone and apologies, you can't afford to lose a good one.

As to the Goldie problem, it all depends how far he is down, if you can see a piece still, you maybe able to pull him back out, but this is probably not an option now..

The best. but admittedly radical option, is to:
Check your house insurance is up to date.
Remove all your most precious possessions.
As said in a previous question, elephants have a lot of gas, so light a slow fuse and blow him up.

Bingo, or is that Bango, blocked plumbing solved, and a chance to rebuild. You may be able to get extreme make over interested.
