Ok, so I was in petsmart and Ive been noticing they feed there fish what appear to be lemon slices or orange slices.. they just let them float in the tank and the fish eat them. Is this something I can do with my goldfish and or my angelfish?

thanks!

yes! fish love oranges, not lemons. the lemons will kill them. but the oranges are high in vitamin c. good for fish to promote beautiful colors. =]

Sure, you can do that. Be careful not to leave the slices too long or they will foul the water of course and I would also suggest you do it on a day right before your water change as the citric acid in the fruit can sometimes alter pH a bit. That depends greatly on your water chemistry, but it's something to consider.

That is an orange slice, not lemon...

Fish love to eat oranges.

Yes, you can feed them to all your fish...

Those veggie clips can hold a vast amount of treats for your fishies. Consider getting one and you can put:

Spinach leaves (freeze them for about 10 minutes and let them thaw again to make them extra tasty)
Banana slices
Orange Slices
Cucumber pieces (mash them up a bit so they can get hunks off)
Even broccoli!
