There is not one right way to cope. Everyone's stress level and ability to cope is different and it actually varies from situation to situation.

When I am angry I will cope by walking around the block (or longer), chatting a friend for an empathetic ear, or clean. Hubby knows when I vacuum at an unusual time I am fuming! And, there is always "beating up the piano" to vent.

When I am sad, I have lots of friends and family who listen, a cat who cuddles, a husband who is there for whatever I need, and I write letters (snail mail kind) to vent. Surprisingly watching a very sad movie gives me an excuse to cry and cry.

Now frustration is another thing. My biggest problem is eating anything in the refrigerator so I try to concentrate on a very old movie or SciFi show to redirect my mind. I also go to the gym which really does help.

As you can see there is no one way. By trial and error you will find your appropriate outlet to cope.

I tend to be more detached to things ,less emotional. Hence I am able to approach my issues as if they are just issues. I started a open communication channel for all concerns, however small the concern and take each of them seriously. I am always positive ,very cheerful, laughter and a smile is my second nature.I also tend to be more relaxed as I realized that we can always plan but GOD has THE LAST SAY. I ALWAYS LET MY FAMILY KNOWS I LOVE THEM and do my utmost for the day before it ends.A good deed a day is what I always do,however small.Always count my blessings. I am very focus and committed in everything that I do if not I will not commit.I know my limited limitations.COPYING is a SURVIVAL INSTINCT.Stay on track. Know when to say NO. Besides God, I have learn to love myself more, hence, now, I know my priorities in my life.

Hello Rosey. I've had one lousy azz weekend, and I've watched some funny dvd's to help me get cheered up. Well, I did get SOME comic relief... but not enough to send my disappointments and such running for cover. Time will ultimately move it out of my system. No fun for me this time around... again! Take care.
