This may seem stupid But it does work. Every time your pup poops tell him no in a firm voice, pick up the poop and pup and put both on a newspaper and make him stay there for a few minutes. If he pees do the same thing after putting the paper on the pee so that it soaks into the paper. Every day move that paper closer to the door.(using the same paper every day helps,of course throw away the poop at the end of the day) After about a week your paper should be to the door.Start putting the paper half way out the door. After 2 days put a little more out side. When he gets used to going on the paper and there isn't enough paper for him to use, he'll start yipping or crying then it is time to put him out side with the paper. After a couple of days its time to get rid of the paper.JOB DONE!!

Crate training is the best way to house train a dog. You have to ensure that the crate only gives the dog enough room to get up and turn, or maybe move back and forth some. A dog will not dirty up his living space, if it is only small enough. Start by taking him out and saying something like "potty". When your pet realizes that this is his time to go and does be sure and praise him with a treat. One important note, a pet will need to relieve himself on an average of one hour added to their age in months up to eight months. In other words a three month old should be allowed to go after a max of four hours. Never should they be left for more than eight or nine hours. It is not healthy for the pet.

The rule I followed was: if you think it has to go out, it has to go out.
Take the dog outside & walk around with it 'til you get the results you want, especially right after feeding. Remember that this is a baby & just learning. And, just like with a child, give lots of praise when there is success. It won't happen overnight but patience, repetition, & consistancy are the best teachers. And NEVER rub its nose in any mistakes.

You have to see and understand him especially the sign that he want to poop then quickly take him to toilet. After several times you do it, he will understand to use the toilet.

when my dog was a puppy all you have to do is get mad at him or her. you dont have to yell or hurt them at all you just have to simply say no in a firm voice.
