Belkin Wireless Router and PSP?

Im having problems setting up my PSP to my Belkin Wireless router. It was working fine but when i got 4mb speed internet i put a wep key on it so no one can use it. So when i put my password on my PSP it says obtaining IP address timed out. How can i fix it i know i put in the right password. Can some help me on this.

When you setup your WEP did you select to make the key shared or open or both? The PSP requires it to be opened.
