I thought Roger Clemens wanted to win, so why the heck would he join the Yankees?

Because he is so full of self love and adulation that he actually thinks he can make a difference. The fans are the losers because they will have to listen for the next month as he "trains" to endless interviews where Roger tells the whole world how lucky baseball in general and the Yankees in particular are so lucky to have him back. The man makes me gag!!

Becasue if he goes to the Astors, they will never have a shot. If he goes to the Sox, he knows they will blow it at the All-Star Break, like every year, and thus be out again. If he wants the best shot at winning, he will go to a team where he can have the most impact and the team that has won 9 STRAIGHT AL East pennants.
