The CD sounds great, but at the end of the CD, instead of playing the next CD, the playback machine skips back to the middle of the last cut of the computer-burned disc. Problem is not in the player. Commercial discs cycle fine to the next disc.

Yes, I suspect the problem is in the finalization because it doesn't seem to be taking as long as it should at least not as far as the "time remaining" is concerned; and yes, I'm using the Windows XP program.

yeah it sounds like it doesnt finalize, or at least not correctly. The CD has to finalize a bit in order to be read by a normal CD player. What program are you using? I suggest Roxio. Windows Media Player has a fair amount of problems with finalizing CD's sometimes.

Possibly you haven't finalized the CD. Not 100% sure, but could be the issue.
