When buying an LLC business...?

I am looking to buy an LLC business that has been established. Do I HAVE to go through the LLC articles of organization again if it has already been established and registered? I am buying the name of the business as well. I guess I just want to know if there is some way I can just transfer my name onto the forms. Thanks for the help.

I would advise against buying the business. You can just as well buy the assets (including name) and leave liabilities to the current owners.
