40-38 hours are full time
salary person can work unlimited time and are paid the same rate.
35 hours and less is part time and no or reduced benfits
some place vary the hours for part-time some part-time work the same number of hour every week

This may vary, but where I work you are considered full time if you average more than 32 hours a week. Anything less than that is considered part time.

Full time is 40 a week, part time is usually anything under 32.

different companys have different guidelines-at my husbands company 35-45 hours a week is full time and 20-34 hours per week is part time
but i think the federal standards are full time -40 hours and part time 20-25 hours...
