On Start-Up my Dell Inspiron Laptop computer is not functioning normally. It normally loads and runs about 76 processes at startup, but now it is just loading about 43 processes. This eliminates a lot of functions from operating such as printer, sound card, Internet Explorer browser, McAfee program, SpySweeper, and several others. I also cannot install any programs I download. FireFox browser is working.
Does anyone know what has happened and how to fix this?

Hi,Well may be that by mistake some important files for the PC Windows where erase and that is why is running just half or to slow so if that is the case you have to install a new windows in your PC OK.

Could be that required Services are not starting up. Check in the Administative Tools, under Services.

Sounds to me like you have a good ol' virus... but I could be wrong. Try an internet virus scanner if your McAfee wont work.
