Usually around 6 weeks, no matter what type of birth you have.

I had a vaginal birth, but I was told by my doctor when we discussed C-Sections that it was the same amount of bleeding-time... they say 6 weeks, but I think I bled somewhere closer to 8. After about 3 weeks, it went to being like a normal period, but it stayed around for probably a month or so after that. I was worried because they said I'd stop clotting after a few days and I was still clotting after 3 weeks, but everything was fine- all bodies react differently to pregnancy and birth.
If you're really concerned, I'm sure your OBGYN would be glad to check it out and make sure every thing's ok.
Hope that helps!

After both of my c-sections it was about 6 weeks. It should slow down over time. If it gets very heavy (more than 1 pad per hour) or you are passing very large clots call your doctor.

i had a c-section and i had bleeding for about 6-8 weeks off and on... i know its annoying
if you notice that it starts to slow down and you increase your activity and the bleeding increases as well its your bodys way of telling you to slow down...
