My computer completely shuts down and reboots at WinDVD 8. Is there a way to fix this? Or will PowerDVD work?

VLC really is a good program. One place to find it is
http://www.codecs.com/download/VideoLAN.htm
but there are probably other places as well, like download.com

I really dont know but I recommend contacting support through e-mail about this even though it takes a long time for an answer and its a pain, but its better than trying each time and seeing it shut down.
If I might add , I recommend you use VLC Media Player rather than Power DVD it uses less resources and plays any video basically. Consider this hope this helped.
