A friend told me that the Yankees were better, and then and nother friend told me that the Rockies were better. Now they want me to desison and i can't decide.
SO PLEASE HELP?!

As a Red Sox fan, I just loved the fact that this question could even be asked. I am afraid that the absurdity of the question will be apparent around Labor Day, but with any luck the Red Sox will have amassed enough of a lead if Clemens, Pettite, Mussina and Wang hit their stride.

The Rockies are better because they have just as dangerous a lineup as the Yankees, but instead of having players that everyone knows about, they have small name players that could be just as good.
Matt Holliday, Garret Atkins, and Todd Helton can all hit for power. Brad Hawpe (since he normally bats sixth) is extremely underrated and can bat the Rockies 3-4-5 combo in whenever they are on base. Troy Tulowitzki has done phenomonal-and I am not talking about his unassisted triple play. It seems as if he gets a hit every game he plays and scores almost every time he gets on base.
Their pitching could use some work, but they are still better than the Yankees' pitching staff. But mostly, their lineup keeps them in games.

Those two teams should never be mentioned in the same sentence unless you are reading stats off of a boxscore. The Yankees are WAY better.
