First, win a Knighthood. Its been done with music and worse.
Second, buy an estate and title of noble status in Eastern Europe. This was formerly available in Italy but those were
all purchased by Americans. Avoid the English Titles for
sale because their slipshod history will follow.
Third, return to the UK, do good works and press hard cash into pockets of 'their' good works. Soon enough you'll be presented to court, meet available lesser blue blood lines, and introduced to royal stables. One well done toff fox hunt should see you over the top and out of the trenches. Blow whistle. You must run. Some will follow. Storm into first available Peerage. Wave the ensign to raise a cheer.
This is how it starts. Didn't you get the memo?

I'm not sure about the BRITISH nobility, but I CAN tell you how to become a royal the old fashioned way. You attack at the head of your troops(You want to be the Big Dog,then the Big Dog goes in front) and invade a country with a monarch and after you've defeated them, have all the members of the present royal family executed along with their servants and THEIR combined families so no one will try coming back for revenge. THEN, usurpe the crown and make yourself monarch.

Gurlygurl and Contessa are right. Anyone who really knows about these things won't be fooled by a purchased title. The long, hard way is to be live in Britain or a small Commonwealth country/colony where titles are still used, work hard and distinguish yourself and hopefully get nominated for a knighthood. For a peerage, you would probably have to be based in Britain. There are a number of ex-MPs who get peerages, or you could luck out like Waheed Alli, a TV producer in his 30s, and get a peerage as well. Alternatively, you could become very rich, buy a country house and live the aristocratic lifestyle.
If you married into a noble family, as a man, you would still have no title yourself.

You have to be born in to it;if you are a female, you may assume a husband's title. You can earn a title by doing something phenomenally important in service to the Queen and country, but it would not be a grand title. You can not buy into the British nobility.Sites that claim to sell British titles are shams;don't waste your money because Debrett's genealogical society keeps track of the poseurs who are claiming to be nobility when they aren't.These social climbers are exposed. The British aristocracy is a very close-knit,cliquish group and outsiders are not welcome with open arms.

Titles can't be bought. Feudal titles can be bought in Scotland. But they not the same as a Peer who title was granted by royal letter patent. Plus even if you buy these fake titles doesn't mean you are a peer. The only titles which are recognised are royal letter patent. You will find loads of site claiming to sell titles. But they useless and no one in the UK would recognised them, anyway how you going to explain to the aristocracy in the UK how you just happened to get a title?
Those who want a noble title are know as nouveau rich

There are several ways to do it:
1. Marry into the family, or
2. Buy an existing title (it is true what others have said about being able to purchase titles), or
3. Make a very large political contribution so that you are included in the next "honors" list. [This refers to the honors scandal under the current Labour Party gouvernment: http://edition.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/05/03/britain.election.ap/index.html]

You don't. Theirs is an ancient bloodline that has been around for thousands of years. They marry and breed within their own kind to keep their bloodline pure. You are either born of these families or not, you can't just become one of them. It's the true blue blood line. And be glad you aren't a part of this extended family. Study the truth about them and you'll be glad you are who you are. You are better than that.

You can buy a title (Westmister is a good place usually, try Downing street! Or you can buy land and title when a family line ends or a noble is having financial problems [this is what Cisse did]), marry and gain a title or be given a title from the Queen.

As an American citizen, no, i don't have confidence which you will "reclaim" your ancestral the Aristocracy, as individuals we've not got royalty as such. the only way i be conscious of could be flow to England or someplace else in the united kingdom, renounce your US citizenship, grow to be a citizen of the crown, & petition whomever to regain your loved ones titles. i'm valuable a barrister or solicitor in the united kingdom could be waiting to assist with those info. stable luck!
