I believe he probably did use steroids, however there is NO concrete evidence to back this up. And in this country you ARE INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY. This means we should give Barry the benefit of the doubt until there is more evidence.
I believe until their is more evidence he should get to keep all of his records.

In the leaked grand jury testimony, Bonds admitted using "The Cream," but unknowingly, saying he thought it was flakseed oil, so he did use a steroid product.
The record will be broken, but it is so under the radar that it seems like only San Fran baseball fans are the only ones who'll know what's up.
Back in the day, the steroids were "greenies" - pep pills - which weren't being given to players by prescription, so should there be a cloud over records in the era when guys were popping pills to perform better?
I just don't see how Bonds could be removed out of the record books without taking away every stat - at the least - from the "steroid" era.

You don't get THAT big over time. Look at Bonds when he was young. How much weight did Ichiro Suzuki gain when he still played for Japan versus now? Bonds has zero credibility inside or out of the baseball world. He admitted to 'unknowingly' taking them, but even if that were true, he still took them. Why do you think he left right after passing Hank? If he didn't really take steroids, he'd have nothing to hide. He'd be playing the game and dream he loved, like you said. But nope, he wanted the HR record by any means possible and then call it quits. What a coward and cheater.

In a word, I think yes, he used steroids. The proof is in the baseball cards. His head on his 2004 card is three times the size of his head on the rookie card.
You might say that Bonds should be struck from the record book because he cheated, but a record is a record. Hank Aaron didn't cheat, but how many of his home runs would have been outs in any park that wasn't Atlanta Fulton County Stadium a.k.a. "The Launching Pad?" Or Babe Ruth's home runs made by playing in the old Yankee Stadium where the right field line was 296 feet to the pole?

I don't know if he used them. I saw another post on a different question that stated the reason Barry was on the DL for 6 months a couple seasons ago was to clean the steroids out of his body. I do know the reason given was surgery on his knees. I had surgery on one of my knees a few years back and I was out of work for almost a year. I still can't walk without a limp, nor can I run, jump, or kneel without pain. If he breaks the record, more power to him. Steroids don't affect hand-eye coordination. Look at his batting average the past 15 years. He deserves every record he can break!

Yes, no doubt. Not excited about him reaching the hr record, but his name shouldn't be taken out of the record books. The reason for this is because he hit 2/3 of his hr's before the suspected steroid use.

Find some film of him playing from 1990 to 1995, his body mass has doubled.
Did you ever see pictures of Michael Jackson from when he was a child and compare it to now, do you think he had a nose job? Same thing
there should be an asterisk for all records set from 2000 to 2010, just so future generations know there was suspicion and in some cases proof.

hgh probably. I am very excited about him breaking the all time homerun record. Roids or no roids he is the best player we have seen in our lifetimes and will ever have the opportunity to see. Giambi, Sosa, Mcgwire,Palmero, and many many others have admitted or be proven to use steroids and they dont have half the numbers or talent that bonds does. So enjoy the show!!!!!!!
