Why Do They Allow Hats In School?

Hats are not allowed in any school I have been to or taught in; with the exception of college.

Hats should not be worn indoors. Many years ago, it was seen as disrespectful to wear a hat indoors.

Not in the school I work in. No hats at all are allowed unless for religious reasons.

In fact, many public and private schools do not. My daughter recently had her woolen cap confiscated by her teacher. She's been told it will be returned on the last day of school in June. I imagine that this is the result of some kids smuggling in some contraband under their hats.
Or perhaps some schools are simply trying to revive the rules of yesteryear.

Most schools don't allow it because is easier for staff to identify students or suspects.

I don't know what school you go to, but mine doesn't allow them unless it's a special day like a spirit day.

they do i know when i went to school they didnt allow them for nothing no jewlery tatoos odd color hair or even clothes that have pictures of drugs beer alcohol etc. and that was a public school

They do? Every school I've been to doesn't. Wish mine would. But they're afraid of us forming gangs... which is stupid cause there already are gangs. Allowing headwear would actually be better cause then you could identify them...

What school is that? Hats should never be worn in school. You are disrespecting your teachers.

Generally they don't. I guess it depends on which school you attend. I would point that question toward my school administration or student council.
