It is bowler's choice to bowl over the wkt or round the wkt.He has to inform the umpire before delivering.

Yes. But we don't call them "lanes". We say that you are either bowling "over the wicket" (where your bowling arm is nearer the stumps) or "around the wicket" (where your bowling arm is further from the stumps.

You can't change ends but you can choose which side of the wicket you bowl from

I feel you are referring to the type of bowling.In that case, you can switch the type of bowling in the middle of over also.
